The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu today defended the right to believe and practise faith, stating that 'whenever we can agree to cooperate with each other for the common good- I want to be there'. A Pound for Zimbabwe: give to Christian Aid
Following his day of prayer and fasting for Zimbabwe in York Minster on Sunday 27th April, Archbishop Sentamu called for donations of at least one pound from as many people as possible to support the work of relief agencies there.
